Privacy Policy
Updated July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WebDesignGuide ("WebDesignGuide", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit webdesignguide.ca (the "Site") or submit a form on the Site.
Who we are
WebDesignGuide Inc. is a registered business operating under Québec enterprise registration number 9572-3201 Québec inc. "WebDesignGuide" is a registered trade name of the numbered Quebec company 9572-3201 Québec inc., which operates this website.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Form submissions. When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, city, and a short message about your project. A hidden honeypot field is used to filter automated spam submissions; it does not collect information from real visitors.
- Standard technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs basic technical information for security and reliability purposes (such as IP address, browser type, and referring page). We do not currently run third-party advertising or analytics tracking scripts on this Site.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, prepare the quote or guidance you requested, and — where your enquiry relates to having a website or local SEO campaign built — to connect you with Lead4Pro, our Canadian web design and SEO delivery partner, so they can follow up on your request. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing with third parties
We share form-submission data only with Lead4Pro, for the sole purpose of fulfilling the quote or service request you submitted, and with service providers who help us operate the Site (such as our web hosting provider). We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Data retention
We retain form-submission records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain business records, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
Under Québec's Law 25 and Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, use the contact form on our homepage and describe your request; we will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
Cookies
The Site does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated to describe what is used and how to opt out.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
